Irial Glynn (Migration History)

Irial Glynn teaches migration history at Leiden University. His research principally involves examining the global history of boat refugees since the 1940s, migration trends from 'peripheral' to ‘core’ countries and how migration has affected Irish society. He is an editor of the Journal of Migration History (Brill) and the author of Asylum Policy, Boat People and Political Discourse: Boats, Votes and Asylum in Australia and Italy (Palgrave, 2016).
