This project by Emma Frobisher, evolved as a side project next to her MA thesis on disability advocacy efforts by a grassroots disability-rights NGO in Sierra Leone. In order to give young people with speech and hearing a voice, she handed them a camera to elicit photos of their daily lives. This provided striking, personal insight into the living realities of these young people, drawing attention to what it means to have a disability in Sierra Leone. The photo series and broader analysis of disability in Sierra Leone are being integrated in website with an interactive prezi.
